Mrs. Cecille R. Taylor, 95, a resident of Franklin, died at The Golden Crest on Jan. 23, 2016. She was born in Palmer, MA on July 24, 1920 the daughter of Arthur and Florina (Therrien) LaFortune. Cecille resided in Hingham, MA before moving to the Franklin area in 1946. During World War II, she served in the US Army Nurse Cadet Corps. As an RN, she previously worked at Franklin Regional Hospital, Merrimack County Nursing Home, and the former Merrill Manor. Cecille was the widow of Raymond E. Taylor who died in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church. Family members include 3 sons: Mark A. Taylor of Philadelphia, Jeffrey A. Taylor and wife Tara of Hill, Paul W. Taylor and wife Shirley of Danbury, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and 3 sons: Wayne M. Taylor in 2000, Peter R. Taylor in 2004, and Robert J. Taylor in 2015. Funeral services and burial in Franklin Cemetery will be in the spring.
