Franklin…Carleton Albert Morang 57, of Franklin, NH passed away on April 2nd after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Carl was born on April 3, 1966 to Albert Carlton and Chalice (Tootey) Morang in Franklin, NH where he resides his entire life.
Carl graduated from Franklin High School in 1984.
During his early teens Carl was eager to start working with his best friend and father Albert at Al Morang Trucking operating equipment.
After graduating high school, Carl continued operating equipment for Marceau Paving, RD Edmunds, and GMI. He finished many years working for his lifetime friend, Richard Stanley at Porter Paving.
In 2000, Carl met Kathy. In 2004, they were married and blended their families, Deric, Devon, Kaylee, Tim, Amy, and Sarah.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going for rides around the lake with his best buddy Max, riding his motorcycle, collecting memorabilia, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his parents Albert and Chalice Morang of Franklin; his wife Kathy of Franklin; his son Deric of Fla; his son Devon of Franklin; his daughter Kaylee of Franklin; son Tim and his partner Ally of Ma; daughter Amy and her partner Josh of Franklin; daughter Sarah of NH; grandchildren Jordan, Kalyse, Carly, Charles, Anna, Bella, and Sadie. His sister Wanita Cross and her husband Tony in Tilton, NH; his brother Albert Carlton Jr (Buster) and his wife Marie of Franklin, NH; many nieces and nephews he was proud of and his best buddy his 8-year-old black lab Max.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 10:30-12:30 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A service will be held at 12:30 with burial to follow at Franklin Cemetery.
