Beverly A. Goodearl, 73, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on March 31, 2011 after more than 30 years of battling diabetes. She was born in West Franklin on Jan. 28, 1938 the daughter of Leonard and Iva (Colby) Piper. She was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1956. Beverly later graduated at the former Moore General Hospital School of Practical Nursing in Grassmere. She resided in Franklin most of her life formerly living in Newfoundland and New Jersey. Beverly was employed by Franklin Hospital for seven years, the former Merrill Manor, and lastly at Mountain Ridge Healthcare Center. She was an avid reader and years ago played the piano and sang at her church. She was a member of the Trinity Bible Church in South Sutton. Family members include her husband of 46 years, Arthur R. Goodearl of Franklin, 3 children: Robert F. Goodearl and his wife Brenda of Franklin, Sara Cook and her husband Donald of Nebraska, and Emilee Wakeman of Franklin, 8 grandchildren, a brother, Melvin Piper of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Douglas and Merlin. Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 4th from 5-8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held Tuesday, April 5th at 3:00 pm at Trinity Bible Church, 539 Rte. 114, S. Sutton. Private family burial will be in NH State Veterans Cemetery.
