Barbara Holden

Barbara was born on October 25th, 1927, in Franklin, NH. She was the daughter of Ruel Ford and Beulah (Goss) Ford of Danbury, NH. Barbara attended the North Road School in Danbury and Andover High School. She spent two years at Boston University and finished her college education at the University of New Hampshire at Durham. Barbara married Walter Holden of Weare, NH, on June 23, 1951. They had two sons, Richard of Prescott, AZ, and John of Plymouth, NH; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Barbara taught music in Maine and New Hampshire. Then, after taking education courses in Connecticut and Virginia, she taught 3rd grade for 13 years. She and Walter lived successively in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, and finally back in the town of her birth, Franklin. A private service will be held.
