Arthur Lafrance

Arthur (Pete) Lafrance peacefully passed at his sisters' home on Saturday, September 1, 2012. He was born in Franklin on October 14, 1937 to Arthur R Lafrance and Blanche M Benwell. He served in the Air Force and was an honorary Fire fighter for the City of Franklin for several years. Pete moved to Cape Cod in the 1980's, working at EB Norris as a truck driver, moving back to Franklin in 2009. He relished in his story telling, especially of Franklin during his youth. Pete was predeceased by his Wife Mary (Higgins) Lafrance, his mother, his father, his older sister, Mary and younger brother Richard. Pete is survived by his daughter Tammie of Bristol Ct., his sister Joyce & husband Ron of Wareham, Ma., Patricia & husband Bill of Claremont, NH, brother, Robert & wife Eleanore and sisters, Linda, Wanda and Sandra all of Franklin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. A military graveside service will be privately held.
