Arne Peterson

Mr. Arne E. Peterson, 95, died at The NH Veterans Home in Tilton on May 13, 2015. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan. 2, 1920 the son of Einar and Hilma Peterson. Mr. Peterson graduated from Pratt Institute Art School in Brooklyn and was a self-employed artist and commercial photographer for many years. He served in the US Navy during World War II as a Specialist 2C. Mr. Peterson was predeceased by his wife, Josephine (Edna) Pakula Peterson who died in 2008. Family members include his daughter, Doris Muffaletto and her husband Peter of New Boston, a grandchild, Kristine Hamilton of Hooksett, 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaden, and Hallie, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karin Baird who died in 2006. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:30 pm in the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
