Anne L. Houle, formerly of Bow, died at Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity of Jan. 18, 2021.
She was born in Franklin on Jan. 19, 1932 the daughter of Joseph and Almeda (Gill) Langevin. She was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School. While in Franklin, she worked at the former Newberry's Store. Mrs. Houle was employed for an insurance company in Manchester for several years.
She married her husband, Gabriel H. Houle many years ago in St. Paul Church.
They resided in Bow during the summer months and spent winters in Frostproof, FL before returning permanently in 2018.
She and her husband made arts and crafts and she did oil paintings. They travelled in their motor home throughout the U.S. and Canada. They were heavily involved in genealogy. She attended many auctions and was involved in many church activities.
Family members include her husband, Gabriel Houle of Unity, a son, Glenn Houle and his wife Wendy of Unity, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Houle who died in 2003, and her brother, Joseph J. Langevin who died in 1998.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul Church in Franklin on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 at 11:00 am. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
