Ann Marden Mcadams

Ann Marden (Richards) McAdams, 82 of Franklin passed away peacefully on Thursday April 3, 2025 after a long illness. She was born in Littleton, NH on September 6, 1942. She graduated from Inter-Lakes High School in 1960. She then went on to Margaret’s School of Beauty graduating in 1961. She opened Ann’s Beauty Shop in 1972. She met and married the love of her life Charlie in 1965. Ann was also a volunteer at the Franklin Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Bread & Roses for 25 years. She loved going to the ocean, Nubble Light, “up north” and just being around her family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her family which includes her brother, William Richards Jr. and Helen Cormier of Meredith, Niece Jennifer and Kevin Ames of Gilmanton, Nephew’s William Richards III, Carolyn of Meredith, Christopher and Erin Richards of NY, Peter Richards of Meredith, NH. Marlene and George Freyler, Robert and Stephanie Laurendeau and family, Scott and Jennifer Richard and Family, Mr. & Mrs. William Freyler and Family
Great Nieces and Nephews include: William (Liam) Richards IV, Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Siepiola (Bianca & Eli), Jessica, Ashley, Joe, Brayden, Andrea, Autumn, Serena, Akaydien, and Ethan Richards, Cody Richards and Family, Tyson McKenna, Jeff, Brittni, Gally, Reggie, Grandmaison. She always made sure to send Birthday cards, holiday cards and attend as many school and family functions as possible. Ann always had kind words for everyone and loved her hugs.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles McAdams, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William (Fred) Richards, her brother Wayne (Punk) Richards, and great niece Tiffany Richards.
A funeral service will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Burial will follow the service in Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.
