Alan Lee Elphick, 64, of Concord, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a courageous and hard fought battle with Leukemia
He was born in Kansas, the son of Cornelius and Mary Julia (Weir) Elphick. Alan spent his childhood in West Virginia and Connecticut before settling in New Hampshire with his wife.
Alan loved nothing more than spending time with his family, including the four-legged members. Alan was kind, gentle, and giving, even to strangers.
Alan leaves behind his beloved wife of 34 years Jeannie of Concord, his son Christopher and his wife Carissa of Sanbornton, his daughter Megan of Pembroke, and his brother James of Orlando, Florida. Alan was thrilled at the expected arrival of his first grandchild in November to Chris and Carissa.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield. A Mass celebrating his life will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 72 South Main St. Concord.
