Adelaide Williams

Ms. Adelaide "Addie" H. Williams, 68, died suddenly on July 24, 2015 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. She was born in Lakeland, FL on June 19, 1947 the daughter of the late William W. Williams, Sr. and Dorothy (McHenry) Williams. She resided in Florida before moving to New Hampshire in 2009. While in Florida, she spent most of her life working as a receptionist at Polk County Association For Handicapped Citizens in Lakeland, FL. Addie enjoyed needlepoint, knitting, arts and crafts. She also liked playing Bingo and playing cards with her friends. Addie loved her grand nephews: Brady, Luke and Merrick always looking forward to spending time with them. She was a very gentle and loving person who easily gained friends and left a huge empty space in all of our hearts. Family members include her brother, Rev. William W. Williams, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Tilton, nieces and nephews: Rachel Schaub of Mooresville, NC, Beth Abele of Chillicothe, OH, David Williams of Tilton, NH and Jonathan Williams of Santa Cruz, CA. She was predeceased by her parents. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 12 noon - 2:00 pm at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield with a service beginning at 2:00 pm.
