Thayne Aaron Wickam

Thayne Aaron Wickam, 61, of Franklin, was born 07/24/1959 Abilene, Kansas and reborn 01/07/2021 in Franklin, New Hampshire. Preceded in death by Father Irwin Wickam, Mother Leona Wickam, Brother Eric Wickam, and is first wife Patricia Wickam. Thayne has been using Autodesk products since 1986. Initially starting in the automation industry, he has been teaching Autodesk products since 1988 at technical schools. A former electro-mechanical designer specializing in automation with an AA in electronics. He began his career doing automation design from conveyor belts to robotics and then moved on to designing servo-controlled smart cards. Thayne migrated from the automation design industry to the Autodesk world in 1994 at an Autodesk partner in Minneapolis as an Application Engineer. He then worked directly for Autodesk as the AutoCAD Electrical Specialist worldwide before moving to IMAGINiT Technologies as an Application Engineer providing support, training and consulting services. Highly respected worldwide! He was an artist of all mediums, taught art classes around MN and also owned "Thayne's Off The Wall" gallery in Jordan, MN. A musician and songwriter, his favorite was guitar, played bass, banjo, mandolin, keyboards and trumpet. An author aside from creating application instruction manuals for work, he enjoyed screenwriting movies and television shows that unfortunately were not submitted. Thayne was a tennis Instructor in Texas and MN, open wheel race car driver, and so much more. He never ceased to amaze me! He is survived by his wife, Jessica Mishnick, son Shawn Wickam (Lindsey), daughters Angela Wickam and Desiree Armstrong (Justin), and his grandson Jayden Armstrong. If I had reached out my hand, Would you have taken it that day? Could I have made you feel better? Could I have made you okay? Could I have pulled you away? From the dark into light? Brought you right back to a safe place And just held you tight? I miss you each day. I try to understand your choice. If I close my eyes, try hard, I can still hear your voice. I know you are free now, Free to fly high. I imagine I see you When I look up to the sky. Forever loved and dearly missed by all who knew him!
