Dora Bergeron

Franklin, NH Miss Dora H. Bergeron, 93, of lifelong Franklin resident, died at Merrimack County Nursing Home on Jan. 22, 2014. She was born in Franklin on Jan. 16, 1921 the daughter of Donat and Eva (Gaudette) Bergeron.Dora attended local schools and was a communicant of St. Paul Church. She was a member of the Franklin VFW Auxiliary. Several years ago, she was employed at the Franklin Needle Shop and the JP Stevens Co. She later worked at Crow Hill Dress Shop prior to retirement in 1985. She is survived by her sisters, Theresa Atherton of Franklin and Anita Thibeault of Rochester, her brothers: Joseph Bergeron of West Warwick, RI and Maurice Bergeron of Omaha, NE, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and siblings Laurier Bergeron, Normand Bergeron, Dorothy LaPlante, Rita Brough, Claire Charland, Leda Schwan, and May Harbour. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, Jan. 26th from 2-4:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at 10 am in St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
