With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Joseph LeBlanc Jr., a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully left this world on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on Monday, April 28th, 1947, in Franklin, New Hampshire, Roger was a dedicated community member who called Belmont, NH his home.

Roger served his country with honor in the United States Army, bravely completing two tours in Vietnam. After his military service, he forged a successful career as a machinist, dedicating many years to Watts Regulator in Franklin and Smith's Tubular Systems in Laconia.

Roger was a life member of the Franklin VFW Post 1698 and an active member of the American Legion, showcasing his unwavering dedication to fellow veterans. He was a former Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. Roger is survived by his loving children, Roger J. LeBlanc III and his wife Chelsea Hazelwood of Winham ME, Cindy Colby and her husband Frank of Middleboro, MA, Tina Nordeste of Attleboro, Ma and Christine Gleaton and her husband Brian of Pembroke, NH; his cherished partner, Elaine Bourque of Belmont, NH; his brother, Danny LeBlanc and his wife Verniece of Waterville, ME, and sister, Suzanne LeBlanc-Hersey and her partner, Mitchell Clohecy of Henniker, NH. Roger's memory will also be treasured by his nine grandchildren, Joshua and Lillian Gleaton, Sean, Morgan, and Brandon Colby, John V and Kelsey Nordeste, Codey LeBlanc, and Johnny Memphis LeBlanc, as well as his three great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

He reunites in heaven with his beloved wife, Marilyn (Couture) LeBlanc, and his dear parents, Roger J. LeBlanc Sr. and Eleanor (Sargent) LeBlanc.

A chapel service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH, on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with full military honors to commemorate his dedicated service.
