Robert Parenteau

Mr. Robert G. Parenteau, 52, of Northfield, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on March 30, 2016. He was born in Franklin on June 15, 1963 the son of Robert L. Parenteau and Cecile (Robichaud). Robert was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School. He later went on to receive a degree from a two year college in Manchester. Robert worked for many years as a tool and die maker. He enjoyed gardening with an amazing green thumb and was known for his homemade salsa. He is remembered as loving animals, loud music, and for his humor that could make anyone smile. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, especially snowmobiling. Family members include his daughter, Haley Parenteau of Tilton, his mother, Cecile Lavoie of Northfield, 2 sisters: Louise Fischer of Gilmanton and Shirley Valley of Franklin, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, and brother John Parenteau. A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin later in the spring.
