Jeanette Marcucci (née Lemire), a longtime resident of Eastham, MA, died on March 7, 2024, after a period of declining health. She was 88.
Born in Franklin, NH, Jeanette was the youngest of 10 children. Each of her parents, as teenagers, emigrated to Franklin from Canada in 1910.
Jeanette is predeceased by: her husband Stephen Marcucci, of New Haven, CT; her parents, Nestor and Marie (Lavoie) Lemire; and her siblings Esther, Germaine, Benoit, Clement, Armand, Theresa, Juliette, Paul, and Henry.
After graduating from Plymouth State University (then, Plymouth Teachers College), Jeanette taught English and French in New Hampshire and Connecticut, and she also worked as a guidance counselor in Connecticut public schools. In retirement, she was an active member of the Council on Aging in Eastham, MA.
Jeanette is survived by 28 nieces and nephews and by family who remember her lovingly as a devout Catholic, a world traveler, a patron of the arts, an actress in community theater, a chronicler of family history, a loyal Red Sox fan, and a kind and generous soul who truly embodied joie de vivre.

A calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, March 15th, at St Paul Church -St. Gabriel Parish, 110 School St., Franklin with a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be later at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin, NH.
