Harry G. Graves, 75, of Franklin, died at his home on Aug. 23, 2017.
He was born in Plymouth, NH on Aug. 20, 1942 the son of Theodore Whitney Graves and Dorothy (Colburn) Graves. He was raised in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth Teachers College. Harry was a teacher at Winnisquam Regional High School for several years where he taught History. He later worked at Polyclad Laminates and then Hannaford’s in Franklin.
When Harry was younger he enjoyed fishing and playing golf as well as vacationing in Maine. As he got older he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks #1280. His wife, Camilla (Rousseau) Graves died in 2003.
Family members include his son, Jason Graves and wife Elizabeth of Franklin, 4 grandchildren, Kyan, Asher, and twins Harry and Isaac, his sister, Ida Sandberg of Candia, and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at 10 am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Old Town Rd., Hill.
